Red Wines

The Rhône Valley is a blessed land for aromatic red wines. Planted with traditional grape varieties from the Ventoux appellation, as well as varieties that thrive in the south and enjoy sunshine in general (Syrah, Grenache Rouge, Carignan, Mourvèdre, Tempranillo, Marsellan), our terroir allows these wines to express their personality, aroma and richness.

You will love our wines for their style and ageing. The wines made from our oldest vines (over 50 years old), aged in oak barrels, produce deep, highly aromatic wines that will enhance the finest meats. Wines aged in concrete vats will appeal to you more for their freshness. A tasting of our red wines is undoubtedly an invitation to take a stroll through the garrigue…

COMMITTED VITICULTURE

As heirs to a terroir where vines have been cultivated and wine produced for over 2,000 years, we always strive to prioritise authenticity and quality, taking advantage of today's environmentally conscious technological innovations, with the utmost respect for traditions and the environment.

HIGH ENVIRONMENTAL VALUE

Our wines come from a thousand-year-old terroir: indeed, vines have been cultivated at Domaine des Peyre for over 2,000 years! Certified High Environmental Value for several years, our production has been in conversion to organic farming for three years and will be able to display the organic label on the 2025 vintage. We are delighted and proud of this achievement! It is the result of the hard work of a dedicated and motivated team. We hope you enjoy our wines. Happy tasting… in moderation, of course.

FUNNY LABELS

A nod to Patricia Alexandre’s career with the label design and cuvée names that evoke the old-fashioned press… Gazette, Paparazzi, l’Equipe, Gala, L’Eclair, Le Blog, Gusto and Apostrophe…
